For anyone wondering what’s going on behind the scenes, here’s a quick update.
While on the face of it, the current site is trundling on rather nicely (the number of visitors – that is, you – has doubled in the last month and plenty of you are submitting your work, making us all groin-tremblingly happy) there are far greater things afoot. To name but a few:
A forum is soon to be launched, giving y’all your own say in things. We want opinions on what you want from us, what you like and don’t like, where you want to be in the future and what you had for tea. To launch this we will be offering free (and real-life) goodies to anyone who joins in. More details soon.
We are in the process of setting up some mentoring projects where grads and students can get involved with professionals for real CV-enhancing experience. Those selected will also be some of the many involved in…
…our first print magazine! Details are sketchy at the moment, but we promise it will be a heady mixture of inspiration, advice, pretty pictures (submitted by you) and design-related gossip. Plus it’s gonna look so good you’re gonna wanna lick it.
Finally we will have a presence at the D&AD New Blood event this summer. So come and find us for chat and biscuits*
