Jess Patterson is a 20 year-old illustrator from Chicago who sent us some of her frankly spooky pictures of gnarled tree-creatures and animals. She also showed us a link to a great time-lapse of her drawing one of them (shown below) – which I gawped at for the full four minutes, so mesmerizing was it. Nice soundtrack too.
