‘Lost Generation’ won second place for the AARP U@50 Challenge. The task was for 18-30s to submit a clip portraying how they see their life at the age of 50. Responding in a simple yet clever way, this submission emphasizes the pivotal moment in time in which we exist.

This short animated film (genre only to be described as ‘Death Comedy’) was the result when the BBC handed directors Smith and Foulkes of Nexus studio some cash and told them to make a comedy film in 6 months. The work has recently been nominated for an Academy Award for the ‘Best Animated Short Film’ category.
Central Saint Martins graduate Chris Seddon focuses much of his talent on illustrating the human form and fashion. Seddon claims to get his inspiration from various places including old photography, women, analogue electronic equipment like the Roland TR-808, helter-skelters, scafholding, and cranes.

Combining street art, pop surrealism and character design, Zonenkinder Collective have collaberated with Danny Gretscher for a show called Erinnerung an den Traum in Germany. Carolin and Philip of Zonenkinder state. “One main part of our work is to create art in the streets and nature and to work with the environment which surrounds us and inspires us to be creative. In fact, sometimes we do not really know what kind of art we create. Often we just discover places which scream for color and revival, or we suddenly see diffuse parts, faces, animals in a fresh painted wall or a tree and let it flow.”
