A graduate of Salford University back in 2006, Rob has mustered an impressive list of both freelance and full-time work including this slick visual dream for Atari. I love the way he categorizes his work as either RGB or CMYK, lovely stuff.
Some rather tasty work from Julio and the crew at 44 Flavours in Kreuzberg, Germany. Obviously the gangly arms of the ShellsuitZombie are beginning to go global. Their work is nothing short of exceptionally creative, with a mix of creations from vinyl sleeves to installations. We like.

This is some self-motivated work by freelance designer Huw Gwilliams who has crafted a handful of classic album covers into the well loved old skool Penguin style. He’s got a nice blog too.
Some great graphic creation from Phil Yamada. Currently working freelance but with an internship at TBWA etc al in Vancouver under his belt, his site is well work a look.

Kipi Ka Popo aka Lydia Lapinski is the Sheffield based art director, designer, illustrator and plush toy maker who, after working for top design agencies like Studio Output and The (Deceased) Designers Republic is now forging ahead with some stunning work. Some of the latest additions being these pretty illustrations for Paul Smith.

This is my second post in a row that involves synth. No, I haven’t ditched my incredibly trendy clothes for a black short sleeved shirt with flames licking up the cusp. This rad synth is the latest offering from Teenage Engineering, the team that bought you the Absolut Choir. I’ve posted it because it’s pretty, not because I understand what it does or how to use it. It does however remind me of my Casio Rapmaster C.1989.

A sweet little console with some of the most famous Daft Punk loops on it. Play some tunes from Spotify over it and you’ve got yourself a right little party.

On the down low, if you live in London or fancy a trip, get yourself to Trafalgar Square from 6-7pm tonight to take part in the next T Mobile Flash Mob. Its gonna be big and offers you the opportunity not only to be on TV but probably to catch swine flu from sweaty dancing strangers. Enjoy!
No self respecting creative doesn’t know the work of the famous Neville Brody, a man whose career has shaped the face of graphic design on a world wide scale and who inspired a new generation of designers. Well, all those designers are now well old and teaching in universities up and down the country but his work continues to grace design books as testament to the ground breaking way he went about his practice. This is a new font specially designed for “New Deal”, the upcoming Micheal Mann film “Public Enemies”, starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale.
On a mission to debate, challenge and create, a crew of eager Goldsmiths students have hit the road and travelled to Milan to take part in the Salone Satellite, a global creative melting pot event. Armed with graphic tools they are creating work inspired by Milan and their journey using stuff they beg, steal or borrow along their way. With Tweets, Flickr posts and a blog, they’ve utilised every possible method of getting the word around.
So, perhaps thats not the title you we’re expecting to sit above a naked man bouncing gayly on a trampoline, but a few minutes taking in the incredible photography of David Lindsey Wade will do things to you. His work has a gritty graphic finish and is honestly some of the best photography I have seen in a while. Take 5 minutes, be inspired and embrace the nudity.

Dave Barnes, an illustrator with a passion for transforming everyday objects into pieces that create nostalgic moods. A warm fuzzy feeling on a Wednesday morning.

JK Keller is an artist, designer and obsessive-compulsive. Through his New York based studio practice, JK creates work that lies near the intersection of design, code, & craft. The dirty mousepad project says it all. By swapping a normal mouse pad for a plain sheet of paper, Keller has caught a print of a few months of hard work. His site is full of beautiful work and offers an insight into his OCD riddled mind.
